The South A Arts Alliance (SAAA) is a coalition of artists, businesses and residents working together to increase the visibility, knowledge, appreciation and practice of contemporary visual art in the vicinity of South A Street. Located in the Arts District of Santa Rosa, SAAA is committed to the continuing improvement, expansion, and promotion of the South A Street vibrant arts community. SAAA was formalized in January 2008 through the grant-writing efforts of Mary Vaughan, Lise Carlson, Laura Hoffman and Liz Uribe. SAAA is composed of South A Street working artists on the southwest side of Julliard Park. The larger SAAA group meets once per month. Planned events: "Vine Art" Spring Art & Wine Event, Winterblast, and neighborhood improvements. SAAA is supported in part by the Arts District...Downtown Santa Rosa and will participate in First Friday, set to take place in May
